File Sharing Chess has been created by Jeff Kubach.
It is played on a standard chess board with classic piece set and initial position.
The rules as written by the author :
"As a move, you can swap the placement of your pawn with an enemy pawn if they are directly in front of each other (having no squares in-between). After a pawn swap, the board will look as if the enemy pawns traded their squares without capturing and each continued along that file. However, you cannot do a pawn swap move when that particular opponent's pawn is threatening any of your pawns or pieces. All other standard chess rules apply."
