Initial setup

The game is played on a 10x8 board.

At the begining the board is filled with orthodox chess rules as indicated above with two squares left empty on both sides : b1 and i1 for white, b8 and i8 for black. Each player will choose one piece among a large set of new pieces.

Initial phase

• White choose one piece.
• The chosen piece is placed on b1 and b8.
• Black choose one piece.
• The chosen piece is placed on i8 and i1.
• The game begins.
