Playing against the Computer

Inspired by Omega chess, played on a 10x10 enlarged board + 4 corners (104 squares) Q on her color, but not white on the right.
Each player has one Elephant and one Hawk out of the board.

Playing against the Computer

Post by JKWms » Thu Mar 30, 2017 1:51 pm

The computer puts the Amazon Queen into action too early immediately attacking the King and trying to raise havoc anywhere on the board. I'm not sure the computer understands the value of the pieces, since it makes bad exchanges sometimes. However, if you have any weak positions, the computer will exploit them. Castling is still the regular way, exposing the King to a flank attack. The Unicorns may be more valuable than the relative strength, try not to lose them too early. Set on the 'strong' level, I'm still beating the computer... I wonder how long that'll last :)

Well, the problem is that the game is still in development ;)

There is still a board evaluation problem which makes the game very weak. I'll try to work on this next week.

About the "cerebral" castling I'm very surprised, it should be available on the site.
Don't you have this as a result ?

I've been using the 2D version because it's easier for me to see what's going on. Maybe the castling is only in the 3D version. I'll play a game right now and check. I'll clear the cache too.

Yeaaah! The castling works in 2D too. I didn't delete the cache yesterday. Thank you!

I better enjoy winning against the computer before you increase its artificial intelligence :D

I played another game against Fake-KB giving it white and it played the Exchange against my French and beat me Which was quite amusing since Id never play e4 against myself.

Happy to see other persons enjoying Chess Variants. Unfortunately, we cannot play against each others on this website. I saw Jocly. Are there any future upgrades of this website to allow playing human vs human games?
