Re: New board painter layouts and pieces
Nice job, good to have these boards.
Be careful, goban are very codified. The spaces are not square, but slightly rectangular. See Wikipedia page for precise value, ratio is 22 / 23.7.
A shogigan would be useful, with 9x9 spaces. Also the shogiban has spaces that are also rectangular, 3.7 / 3.5. They have 4 dots that are marking 3x3 blocs.

Re: New board painter layouts and pieces
thanks for the feedback, didn't know that.
I updated the Go boards with the 15/14 I found on Wikipedia. Not exactly the 22 / 23.7 you are talking about, have you sources for that ?
I also added the Shogi board : https://musketeerchess.net/tools/boardp ... p?bs=shogi
I used the 3.7 / 3.5 ratio for Shogi.
What do you think ?

Re: New board painter layouts and pieces
Thank you Jerome. That's neat. I think I had used Wikipedia to find what is rectangular ratio. Anyhow, your 15/14 looks much more natural, and as the matter of fact it is almost the similar ratio. So, keep it like you've done. Thanks.
