Just wanted to say thanks to whoever updated the Board painter tool to include XiangQi and other chess boards - great job, really helpful and well implemented.

It would be great for PBEM games to have an icon that indicated that the friendly move puts the enemy king in check.
EDIT: I just realized that I can rotate the "X" move symbol 45 degrees to become a "+" symbol that I can place over the king after a move places him in check.

Is there any way to suppress the Algebraic Notation letters/numbers on the board margins? My friend and I play by email and he is more comfortable with English Descriptive Notation, so the AN characters are redundant to us.

No problem. Board Painter is a great tool for email play.
