I am not sure that this variant is necessarily one that will play well, but it seems to be a very obvious idea. The original complement of new pieces for Musketeer Chess included the Chancellor and Archbishop, for playing Capablanca Chess, along with eight other new pieces. So, if one has a 10 by 8 ...

From the Ebay page for the Chess Shop of North Carolina, I see it is possible to order from Canada, so I have done so.
And I'm excited to hear that a 12 by 8 board will be available soon. A board for playing Glinski Hexagonal Chess is the only thing left, now!
